Steve decided that midnight, after Outback Pizza and Joey Leone and the Horns, is the perfect time to change light bulbs in the kitchen.
Crash, bang.
Two little metal clips broke, the globe came crashing down. Steve was able to keep it from smashing on the floor by deflecting it with his deft hands. Instead, it careened onto my coffee carafe. I woke up this morning with no light, no coffee, and zero degrees with no snow in the near future. What was to save us about $.35 by switching to energy efficient bulbs, ended up being a bit of a false economy.
Skiing wasn't that bad. We all brought the wrong goggles. It stayed sunny all day. The Killington Recovery Process was well done. Bear Mt. was in great shape. Over on Needle's Eye we did Cruise Control and Wayne's Wrap-around. Both fantastic. Diana could not lure us onto the head wall of Vertigo where a sign should have read, "Helmet-ed Skiers Only." Killington continues to blow snow.
The last run of the day, High Line, was a mistake. That was a sheet of ice from top to bottom.
We ran into Annie. BB's female relatives skied Pico today. Hope it was great.
