Snow, snow, snow. You want it? We've got it, and it just won't stop. Steve, Dennis, and I met Wayne at Bear this morning. You can ski anything. Bear was beautiful. The Eye, beautiful. We took a few at South Ridge, you guessed it, beautiful. Not beautiful was riding up that chair with The Noisemaker. Geez. We did the Jug top to bottom. My Phat Luvs are great skis, but don't do those tight bumps well.
We all chose a different run of the day. Dennis chose Breakaway. There was a ton of snow in there. Dennis used the word tremendous. I must agree. Steve chose Roundabout. It was in rare shape. I would choose Breakaway over Roundabout, though. My pick of the day is called Tonya's Trail. It runs under the Skye Peak chair is needs a ton of snow to cover it. It had it. I hucked off that cliff in the middle and landed smoothly...in my mind. We took it twice to end six days of skiing.
Wayne ended his day in Rutland screwing around with a Blackberry.
The Noisemaker is finishing his shower. There has been singing and nyuk nyuking, among other sounds followed by, "All right" and deep sighs. Steve said he must go through seven lungs a day. There was just a sound I can't identify and would rather not know about, but I'm sure he'll tell me about it.
Next stop: The Lookout.
