I wasn't going to go out, but was lured. It was cooler than yesterday, and I didn't wear as many clothes. Frozen granular. Made a few turns, then back up the Stairway to Heaven. Ten steps into it, Bob wanted a break. There were people knocking back beers about 2/3 of the way up. Bob waited until we got to the peak for his beverage.
Free pizza at the Outback last night to kick off Northern Skiworks' season. The place was packed. Big energy. And just as Joey Leone was about to go on, Diana made us leave and meet Barbara at the Wobbly Barn. Fine.
Everything was 1/2 off, and it's been years, maybe, since I've eaten there. Tenderloin with crab and asparagus was quite nice. BB & Pete golfed for the day. Diana hadn't eaten in weeks, it seemed. She finished her filet mignon in 3.5 minutes flat.
Off to the Lookout for a nightcap. P.B. called me. I won the grand prize, Solomon skis, back at the Outback, but you have to be there to claim them. I was not. I blame BB.
Skiing the Glades and hiking the Stairway to Heaven is getting old. We need cold weather and snow.
