It has been snowing steadily all day. We got 4-5 inches on the mountain. They ran the Canyon Quad today, so we spent much of the morning there. Double Dipper, East Fall twice, Tonya's Alleyway off the top of Double Dipper.
Then we went to the Eye. KMS was practicing GS on Needle's Eye, but we got there just as a coach pulled the rope. Absolutely run of the day. Fresh pow all the way down.
We went down Great Bear. My side was dust on crust. Steve's side was great, of course. Then he made me do Royal Flush. Again, my side was scratchy and dirty and his side was gorgeous. Whatever.
We went into Nowhere which was nice and then into Sky Bits which was rocky and stumpy. Because my parents are coming, I wanted to quit early to greet them. Perhaps for the same reason, Steve, on our third run after lunch, suggested going to Ram's Head and doing Squeeze Play. So we got back later.
Last weekend, I forgot to report that BB has begun her hucking career. She started by launching off the loading platform on the Skye Peak Chair.
Just me and Steve today. The problem with just two is you ski too much and lunch is too short.
All around great day. Let it snow! Maybe another 18 inches tonight.
