Chilifest '10

And the winner is....Ratsu Rizzo! Chili made with wagon wheel pasta pieces to stay with his Midnight Cowboy theme took the prize. Uncle Bob, the dark horse, came in first on his first try at chili. I hate to tell him that movie wasn't really about cowboys, but oh well.

Honorable mentions go to Mountain Chili, Cat Scratch Chili, Santa Fe Chili, Curry Chili, and the Seafood Chowder. "Who brought the gun to the knife fight?" was Bob's question regarding the chowder. It was GOOD. Thanks, Dar!

Karen's poor showing in the voting was probably because of her poor location near the wine glasses. Karen will get first pick next year.

Put Diana, Dave H., Karen Q., and 40 other people in the kitchen and what do you get? Loud, loud, loud. And then there were some of the smells coming from the usual suspects.

Chilifest is retiring for now. Next year will be Soup, Stew, & Chowderfest.
