Spring Is Almost Here

The day started off warm-ish with a chill at the top. We drove to Bear and parked our lunch there. The wind died down as the day went on, and the sun stayed out. Bear was great. Steve, Michael, and I did a few before we met Byron. We did the usual in reverse. Bear, Needles Eye, Bittersweet.

Around 11:30 Byron said he was still feeling nimble. We skied a few with Sam and his friend, Cory, who are staying at a high-profile associate of the Red Sox's ski house. Cool!

We took Mr. Nimble down Low Road with sweet medium-ish sized bumps. Twice. Very soft. Even better was Old Superstar which was the run of the day. Super soft, hero bumps, we all felt Olympic. We did it again.

After lunch we skied a few more at Bear which felt like a spring afternoon. 25 degrees and sunny. The snow was soft. I couldn't get enough. But Steve is sick and Mr. Nimble's wheels, axles, and hubcaps came completely off. A beer at the bar and back to the Chardonnay Chalet.

Michael is pretending he's Dennis, hanging out in old, gray long underwear cut short. He promises he will bathe. I might take the over on that.
